Through the years I have been divided between my two careers, graphic design and fine arts. I have taken a search of the synthesis between both, not in the formal sense but in the personnal: giving the same force and passion to my art as I give to the design. This search has been bumpy, filled with moments of great inspiration and others of great disillusion but always the result comes up satisfying.

Painting objects that do not belong in the real world but in my world this relationship exists; bodies and libidinous actions decorated in beautiful patterns and colors, fish in cages of birds, flowers that fly, people who sail like boats, hearts outside the body to which they belong. A world that seems to be normal but that in detail is not.

The woman is recurrent subject, in his more surprising attitudes like a tribute to their variety of emotions.

The paintings vary of size responding to the feeling of the moment, although it sound senseless, facing big canvases allows me to be selective with the elements, like metaphor for the man whom is forced to select what matters in a modern world full of many unnecessary things. The square is my favorite format because it does not define direction, allowing me to work harder in my compositions.

Flat colors and random brush strokes. Great influence of Klimt, Picasso, Modigliani and Matisse. I adore the graphics which are characteristic of the Vienna secession. The anxienty to turn the figure into an icon, strongly graphical and undressed of its imperfections to represent the essence of the being, clean and large than life.
